Pencil drafts the page. You make it yours.
01What Pencil is
Pencil is a workspace for notes, tables and boards that drafts pages for you. Describe what you need in a sentence and Pencil picks the sections, blocks and starter content. Then you edit it like any document.
02How it works
Describe it
Type or say what the page is for, in one sentence. “A sprint board with owners and due dates” is enough.
Pencil drafts it
It picks sections and blocks and fills in starter content. You can see its reasoning and ask for changes.
Edit and share
Edit like any document. Keep it private, or make it public with one switch.

Voice input turns what you say into text as you speak.

05Questions
Pencil is free while in beta. If that changes, we will let you know well in advance, and everything you made during the beta stays yours, whatever plans come later.
Your pages are private by default and only you can see them, until you choose to make one public. Deleting your account removes your pages.
AI only runs when you ask: when you describe a page, open Ask Pencil, or use voice input. You can see its reasoning, and nothing it writes is added to a page until you choose to insert it.
Any page can be switched from Private to Public. It then gets a link anyone can open without an account, and search engines can find it. Switch it back to Private and the link shows a 404.
